Bloodline

Atlantic

Behold The Defiant

One of Melbourne's favorite heavy hitters, Blood Line have been mercilessly carving their name in.... EVERYTHING since their inception in 2009. With Zakk Wylde like shredding from the guitars and thunderous bass and machine gun blast beats that would make Troy Sanders cream himself, Blood Line are bound to get your head banging.

Blending Death, Groove and just damn Heavy Metal under the flag of Shane "Saw's" guttural vocal styles, Blood Line are a band who's name you'll remember.

2014 saw interstate shows and the release of the much anticipated 'Beyond the Pale', the first EP the band has undertaken. Featuring seven tracks, the vibe encompasses the band's early direction of attitude spanning a variety of heavy genres. Be sure to have a listen on Triple J unearthed!!

Hollywood Tall

With Guests

Frame
Clay Adams and Vex

Just like herpes, Hollywood Tall is back at the Brunswick Hotel after a long absence and free of charge.

Who/what is Hollywood Tall? The answer is anything but simple(x). Hollywood Tall is the #1 creator of wank-hop. By taking the art form known as hip-hop, removing everything hip about it, and replacing it with immaturity and pretension, an entirely new genre is made.

On Saturday 31st January at Brunswick Hotel, Hollywood Tall, Frame, Clay Adams and Vex will not be changing lives, redefining music as we know it or providing solutions to world problems. However, they will be delivering hip-hop directly to you. Different to your average hip-hop, this will be an experience that will never truly leave you, like losing your virginity or fighting in Nam. It's nice, it's unusual, it's a pop culture reference, it's free!

8pm till 1am - DJ

Lamb Boulevard

with guests

Atlas
The Romey and Joe Show

To open this funtastic night is the ever so talented, The Romey & Joe Show. These two boys give a different taste to what we know as "folk" with a bit of a Rock edge. With it just being the two of them, they send out a HUGE sound attracting crowds wherever they play.
Afterwards is a new lineup for the band; Lamb Boulevard. These boys have been together as a four piece for just a couple of months but with the writing of new songs and playing gigs all around Melbourne, they are earning a name for themselves. Often compared to the likes of Mumford & Sons, these boys are here to have fun and an all out folking good time.
To close the night will be Atlas (previously Marionettes) are an Indie pop/rock band from Melbourne, with hooky songs and melodic lyrics. Nathan, Emily, Ben and Marlee have burst onto the music scene with shows at The Bendigo Hotel, Brunswick Hotel, The Espy and so on. With a demo under their belt and an EP in the making, be prepared for songs full of harmonies, catchy hooks and plethora of sad, soulful lyrics.
