Saddled up with a new single and associated clip, Brisbane's The Royal Artillery are all set to destroy earlobes and inhibitions over the months of August and September with what will be their first East Coast tour of 2014.

The Stoner Blues merchants have established a solid name and reputation for themselves over the last year through a decent touring schedule and captivating live show. Riffs are massive. Technique is sweet. Groove is solid.

Sleeper Thieves

with guests

Aurora
The High Suburban
Jimmy and Paige

It's been a very successful 6 months of intimate shows for us Sleeper Thieves. So, we've decided to celebrate by throwing a send off party for Gareth & Tim, before they embark on OS adventures in search of their fellow yeti.
This will be our last show until well into the turn of the year, so we've called in bass player (Peter Clancy), and drummer (Matt Mustard Evans) to help us rock out some new songs, and recreate some old ones for you.

We've also got the gyrating and good time party vibes of 'THE HIGH SUBURBAN' who will be launching a brand new single for everyone. THS will have you twisting and contorting to their odd time dance tracks before you know it. Check out them in full party mode here...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoDY2dJkv5Y

Before things get too wild, we will have an acoustic set from 'AURORA'. These guys are so god damn dirty and dingy they will have you rinsing yourselves with rags on sticks before you know whats going on. Detuned acoustic guitars with soul wrenching vocals, these guys throw out some serious sounds for a duo. Check out their latest music video here...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF46VgXXYos

To kick off proceedings we will have an acoustic set from Jimmy & Paige. This young duo will delight your pants off. Need I say more...?

So come down early, have a beer, support the Brunny, support the bands, and lets have a super massive big night together like one big happy yeti family.

It's Grand Final Day again, and if you haven't got a houseparty to go to, now you have a beer garden party to go to...!

Grand Final day is a special day for most Australians because there is a game of footy on that day. Sure it is a great day and who doesn't like watching a bit of competitive sport, but for us Brunswick locals its a day to get together, smash some beers, have a BBQ and listen to some sick music!

Our good mates Richy and Franky The Brunswick Hotel have given Team Rowdy FC the go ahead to host the beer Garden at the Brunny all day, with the game being screened outside, as well as inside on the projector, music free. After the game, we'll kick off some music outside on the decks, and they'll kick off some bands inside.

Lineup includes: Dead City Ruins, The Workinghorse Irons, The National Evening Express, The Black Alleys and Twin Ages.

12am till 3am - DJ

The question everyone’s been asking is Who’s this?... Who’s this?indeed! Melbourne's funky psychedelic trio Who'sthis? have been making a splash since 2013, running a successful Pozible campaign to help release theEntropy EP since which selling over 1000 copies and having their original song Xanax shortlisting in 2013's ASA songwriting competition. 2014 is shaping up nicely with a studio album in the works. Except rock and pop grooves matched with infectiously melodic vocals and some eclectic performances. Like the page, join the mailing list, see the show, get reckless with the swashbuckling, pedal stompin' space cadet trio

Lizard Man Presents:
Secrets of the Ooze

Featuring:

Lizard Man
The Balls
Femme Noir
The Rift

Melbourne VIC – LIZARD MAN have announced Friday 3rd October as the date of their next show, bringing with them three fast rising Melbourne bands!
Whilst having (dis)graced the stage of The Brunswick Hotel in the past, this will be LIZARD MAN’s first time headlining one of Melbourne’s favourite late night music venues.

Sounding something like “Biffy Clyro and Pearl Jam in a bar fight with Karnivool”, LIZARD MAN’s brand of rock has been well received by local music media, with Stephanie Tell from INPRESS: The Music declaring them “… a thundering style of riff grinding hard rock.”

Driven by a love of the riff, thunderous drums, and soaring choruses, LIZARD MAN shows get the crowd sizzling on a hot bed of rock.

Joining LIZARD MAN are special guests and fellow independent hometown alternative rock bands; The Balls +Femme Noire + The Rift kicking the night off.

The Right Words (NSW)

with guests

THE RIGHT WORDS are a 5 piece rock group, heavily drawing influence from the Rock, New Wave, and Post-Punk music of the 80s.

Life began for THE RIGHT WORDS in 2004 as a solo project by lead vocalist "Moose" under the name PICTURES OF YOU.

They made their live debut at 'Pink Rock' in 2008, sharing the stage with UNCOVERED CLASSIC ROCK and AUSTRALIAN IDOL'S DANIEL WAKEFIELD, and raising over $16 Thousand Dollars for the NBCF.

Since then, they have been cutting their teeth and getting ready for the big time, writing new material and tightening their live show that many say is better than the studio recordings.

With experienced members and a unique sound that is a blend of old and new, THE RIGHT WORDS will take you on a polyphonic adventure from mellow cruising beats to rocking riffs tied together with awesome synth work.
