Greg Steps is a Brisbane born folk/ country singer-songwriter, currently residing in Melbourne. Accompanying himself on guitar and harmonica, Steps is a modern day storyteller with songs that evoke the vast desolate landscape of Australia’s barren interior. With his distinctive voice, unique songs and unconventional between-song banter, he has proven himself to be a true original.

New Zealand born, Melbourne based songwriter Oskar Herbig holds a stage with the same finesse one would expect from a road-seasoned pro. As a central member of Skyscraper Stan and the Commission Flats, Oskar has appeared at pubs, festivals and theatres up and down the East Coast, sending crowds into wild ovations with his audacious guitar work. His intuitive and singular style is apparent on their debut album “Last Year’s Tune”. As a songwriter, Oskar’s influences are many and varied; the songs swing from eerie ballads to knee-slapping honkey-tonk, from barrelhouse to straight out rock ‘n’ roll.

The Grand Baxter story is so far short, having formed from various touring bands in mid-2017 as a welcome distraction from the road. Their songs dance between the lyrically intense and the playfully pretty, watermarked with a musicality and intent driven by their individual jazz, rock and country influences. Inspired by artists such as James Taylor, Paul Simon and Willie Nelson, Grand Baxter are best described as 'a bold hamper of charisma, musicality and country-folk charm.'
