Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden but with firm roots planted in Melbourne via Australian ex pat Simon Banfield and his songs, Panhandler are a loud, gruff and lovingly honest approach to punk rock. For a band that comes from so far away, their songs really hit close to home while tackling issues such as gentrification, capitalism and the day to day struggles of the average human being( if you're from Melbourne, specifically Footscray, it's probably because these songs are about home).

The bands debut EP There Goes The Neighbourhood is available here:

Tiger Can Smile

Adelaide's Tiger Can Smile has taken on a couple of different forms over the last little while, but the key consistencies are Steve Rosewarne and his collection of carefully crafted songs.

Now backed musically by some of his best mates, Rosewarne's songwriting abilities shine. Taking influences from bands such as The Lawrence Arms, Jawbreaker and The Weakerthans, the band has gone from strength to strength since the release of their debut EP Lollipop Park

Check out Lollipop Park here:
