Moonlight Broadcast, The Cornersmiths, Paul McManus

A wandering hobo left a guitar in the back of Moonlight Broadcast's Corolla. Now they use it to bring their folksy, soulful tunes to the world. Described as “upbeat depressing, downbeat uplifting”, Moonlight Broadcast present songs of melancholy, cynicism and hope.

Born from a mutual love of music, writing and brews, The Cornersmiths are a Melbourne band that spans a number of styles to create their distinct sound. Guitarist, Erik Styles, and Conrad McDonald, the bassist, write with a country/folk feel. Dani Raulli, the lead singer, writes and sings everything with a hint of blues and soul and drummer, Hugh Benbow is a rocker at heart. A slightly dysfunctional musical group that functions better together..

Paul McManus & The Mayblooms debut album ‘Grass Clippings from a Sunday Afternoon’ is a collection of ambitious tunes written in share houses over the first decade of the 21stcentury. Since it’s release in mid 2015 Paul and the band have been on a year and a half long break. This will be Pauls first gig back in yonks.
