Blurred Vision Productions is proud to offer your ears, your minds and your souls the next instalment of North Of The River South Of Bell (Part 2; Southeast Meets North).
This epic instalment will take place from the late afternoon through to the late evening. Where's it gunna be? The Brunny!!! That's where it's gunna be. Keith Richards once said about the Brunny "It's great to be here. It's great to be anywhere really". Wise words Keith......
Kicking off proceedings will be the finely tuned, well oiled, modern-pop engine of Accidental Bedfellows. Their sweet harmonies will swiftly overcome any last remnants of your Sunday hangover and get you ready for the hip shakin, toe tappin, fang fangin rockin' hits of.......... Wait for it.... Yesss!!!! Snakeskin Ally. Slithering from the Southeastern suburbs across the river to slay the North with their venomous blues/rock' n' roll.
We've got the iconic Northside rockers Siberian Eyes wrapping it all up. Not only have they got the classics, they've got a plethora of new hits about everything from kickin' back at Stringers house to highs and lows of civil court action. We've even got an ode to the kicks and kisses one can receive at the Brunny Hotel.
Since the last Melbourne Siberian Eyes gig the band has been far and wide. Brisbane, Auckland, Cairns, Perth, Bali and Karratha.
Not as a band but hey, they've been getting around alright!!!
So get on down for one hell of a good time. Until then, here's a bunch more Keith Richards quotes to get you through....
"If you're going to kick authority in the teeth, you might as well use both feet"
"I don't trust doctors. It's not to say there ain't some good ones, but on a general level, no, I wouldn't trust 'em at all. I mean some doctor told me I had six months to live and I went to their funeral."
“I’m Sagittarius, half-man, half-horse, with a license to shit in the street.”
"I was Number 1 on the Who's Likely to Die list for 10 years...I was really disappointed when I fell off that list."
