Verticoli (TAS) Album Launch w/ Foxtrot, Dukes of Deliciousness, Del Lago

The Brunswick Hotel present a tremendous night of live (and free) music!

FOXTROT: Formed in 2010, Foxtrot have been playing their brand of distinctly Australian sweat-dripping punk rock anywhere and everywhere since. Sharing stages too many times to count with good mates and Jackknife Music label-buddies The Smith Street Band and The Bennies, and after releasing debut album Gone Fishin' in 2013, Foxtrot have been working hard on the road and in the rehearsal room writing new material. The result is the new record HABITATS, to be released into the wilderness soon.

DUKES OF DELICIOUSNESS: The Dukes of Deliciousness sound like a broken vinyl fight between Turbonegro and Clutch armed only with copies of KISS Alive and Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers in the middle of a strip club owned my the members of Fu Manchu. Howls of ecstasy, sexy serenades, buckets of sweat and a bevy of hypnotic pelvic thrusts litter the stage when on a date with The Dukes of Deliciousness.

VERTICOLI (TAS): Hobart's Verticoli occupy a niche in Australian music shared by few others. Combining unrelenting groove with an unbridled passion for heaviness and harmony, the band has forged a raucous alternative rock sound that stands alone. With a relentless gigging history and a hard-earned spot at the Marion Bay Falls Festival under their belt, the passionate four piece have spent two years writing music and culling the excess to create 'Punching Bag', a 10 track LP that truly captures the band's no-frills ethos. Off the back off their album launch tour spanning TAS, VIC, NSW and SA, Verticoli are thrilled to be back in Melbourne to play their 5th show in the city for 2015.

DEL LAGO: A rag tag assortment of friends playing gruff beardy emotional punk rock songs for anyone that will listen.
Del Lago's influences span from one decade of punk to another and then back again. From Face to Face to Red City Radio, The Descendents to Hot Water Music, The band comes across in waves of energy throughout the course of their present releases and live set.
